Franco Raggi's recommendations

The Italian architect, designer, and former editor of Casabella and Modo magazines offers a peek into his local haunts.

Here's the list,
In no particular order:

The billiards hall, Casa Jolly (Corso Colombo, 13), towards the Verso station, and near the Hotel Minerva, which I quite like, too.

The fried toast sandwich they make at Marchesi, by the Fondazione Prada.

Palazzo Fidia (Via Melegari, 2), by the architect Aldo Andreani, on via Mozart, circa 1920.

The Naviglio Ludovico il Moro, where they close their doors at around 4pm, when it's still sunny out.

The roasted chicken at Giannasi, the legendary kiosk in Corso Lodi (Piazza Buozzi, 2).

And as an architect, I'll add:
Stazione Central, seen by the side, in Via Ferrante Aporti,
The white wedge structure at architect Luigi Moretti's Corso Italia complex (Corso Ialia, 13-17),
the Piazza della Borsa at night... without Cattelan's finger,
and my favorite store, the windows of textile store Raponi along the naviglio in Darsena (Piazza Monte Titano, 4).
